Cleanest Hotel
When you stop in at the Welcome Center in Arlington, and all the hotel rooms are full, the lady will give you a flyer for the Americana Hotel. Or at least it was so in May of 2007. The hotel is American owned. They speak English. It has been a family establishment since it's been there. VERY clean. Staff were all very personable and friendly. Was the first time we had stayed in that 'metropolitan' of anywhere, and I can honestly tell you that I felt safe. Was a wonderful place to stay for a wonderful trip. Was with in walking distance of subway. Top notch!
